The findings indicate that epistemology serves as a philosophical foundation for understanding the origin, structure, and validity of knowledge, while scientific logic functions as a systematic tool that guides reasoning in constructing rational and consistent scientific truth. Both have a complementary relationship, where epistemology provides a normative framework for determining the criteria of knowledge validity, and scientific logic ensures that the reasoning process is structured, coherent, and free from fallacies. Therefore, the integration of epistemology and scientific logic plays a crucial role in producing scientific knowledge that is objective, measurable, and academically accountable, while also enhancing the overall quality and credibility of the scientific process.
2026-07-12T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Filsafat dan Teologi Katolikhttps://ejurnal.stikassantoyohanessalib.ac.id/index.php/juftek/article/view/398Peran Pembimbing dalam Pembinaan Paduan Suara Gereja: Kajian Berdasarkan Amsal 11:14 di HKBP Pagar Beringin2026-07-15T11:35:58+07:00Yosua Altiel SiburianPyosua667@gmail.comIrfan Firma Tua BerutuPyosua667@gmail.comRangga Abednego Simare-marePyosua667@gmail.comNovita Aditya ManaluPyosua667@gmail.com
This study examines the role of the director in the development of the church choir at Huria (HKBP) Pagar Beringin using a theological approach based on Proverbs 11:14. The focus of this study is to understand how the director functions not only as a vocal technique coach but also as a leader, educator, and spiritual mentor who plays a role in building unity and the quality of the choir’s ministry. The method used is qualitative-descriptive through field research combined with a biblical study of Proverbs 11:14. The results of the study indicate that the successof choir development is highly dependent on the presence of a director who is ableto provide guidance, motivation, and wise counsel. Challenges such as a lack of understanding of vocal techniques, limited rehearsal methods, and low vocal homogeneity can be overcome through the role of an effective and contextual mentor. Theologically, the mentor is understood as the embodiment of God’s wisdom God who brings order, unity, and success inministry. Consequently, choir training is not only oriented toward musical quality but also toward spiritual growth, character development, and the creation of a harmonious ministry community that glorifies God.
2026-07-20T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Filsafat dan Teologi Katolikhttps://ejurnal.stikassantoyohanessalib.ac.id/index.php/juftek/article/view/399Kepemimpinan Berbasis Advokasi Perempuan sebagai Upaya Melawan Diskriminasi Gender2026-07-18T09:58:57+07:00Mariance Marianceancemariance503@gmail.comVeraciouus Veraciouusveracj09@gmail.comNovita Ruranovitarura07@gmail.com
This research aims to offer leadership based on women's advocacy as an effort to fight gender discrimination. Gender discrimination is currently increasingly prevalent and has a negative impact on women. One of the causes of gender discrimination that has not been completely resolved is the leadership factor. The focus and attention of leaders in carrying out their roles has not been fully directed towards the problems experienced by women. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Literature study was used to find the information needed in this research. Leadership based on women's advocacy aims to fight for women's rights in gender equality and overcome discrimination. In leadership based on women's advocacy, it can be done in various ways, namely a leader needs to have in-depth knowledge about gender equality and be committed to being a driver of social change and upholding human rights. Apart from that, leaders also need to pay full attention to women as a form of hospitality, renewing the community in knowledge about gender equality and implementing women's recovery and empowerment. The hope is that through women's advocacy-based leadership, we will lead to a society that is gender equal and free from injustice and discrimination.
2026-01-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Filsafat dan Teologi Katolikhttps://ejurnal.stikassantoyohanessalib.ac.id/index.php/juftek/article/view/335Relasi Pemahaman Ekologis dengan Perilaku Ekologis Mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi Katolik di Indonesia2026-07-14T21:14:42+07:00Roida Sihombingroidasihombing7@gmail.comBonifasius Bonifasiusroidasihombing7@email.comMaria Magdalenaroidasihombing7@email.comYly Suardyroidasihombing7@email.comGregorius Redwanroidasihombing7@email.comSebastianus Aldoroidasihombing7@email.comAlfeus Sunarsoroidasihombing7@email.com
TThis study aims to analyze the relationship between ecological understanding and ecological behavior among students at Catholic higher education institutions in Indonesia, as well as to gain a deeper understanding of the factors influencing their ecological behavior. The study employed a mixed methods approach using a sequential explanatory design, in which quantitative data were collected and analyzed first, followed by qualitative data collection and analysis to strengthen and explain the quantitative findings. The quantitative phase involved 109 respondents selected through purposive sampling, while the qualitative phase involved 12 participants selected based on the diversity of their responses and their willingness to provide more in-depth information. Data were collected using a 20-item closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaire and an open-ended questionnaire. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression, whereas qualitative data were analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings indicate that students’ ecological understanding and ecological behavior were both at a high level. Pearson correlation analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between ecological understanding and ecological behavior (r = 0.615; p < 0.001). Regression analysis showed that ecological understanding accounted for 37.9% of the variance in ecological behavior, while the remaining 62.1% was explained by other factors. The qualitative findings revealed that students’ ecological behavior was influenced by personal habits, social environment, the availability of campus facilities, and an environmentally supportive campus culture. These findings suggest that improving ecological understanding should be accompanied by institutional policies and the development of an ecological culture to encourage the consistent implementation of ecological behavior in everyday life.
2026-07-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Filsafat dan Teologi Katolik
